I saw this video clip on my Facebook timeline and couldn’t stop laughing. This kid is echoing the prayers of anyone who lives in the Midwestern United States! Enjoy a good laugh on this Saturday morning.

Question: Have you been hoping and praying something similar during this brutal winter? I would love to hear from you. You can leave a comment by clicking here.

Yes, joy is a worldview and a way of life. I have actually reveled in this winter’s cold. We moved north this year and being someplace with four real seasons has been wonderful. I can’t wait to see what all of those bulbs springing up from the ground of our yard will turn out to be. I could do with less wind, though. My elderly mother-in-law suffers in the biting wind, which seems to pick up each day, just as I am getting to her assisted-living residence to take her out for errands and a chance to be out and about together. Because her memory has failed, she no longer remembers the hurts and difficulties of her life and each day is a new opportunity to take childlike joy in the simplest of pleasures and plant the seeds of contentment and comfort.
