A little over a year ago, I had the honor of joining together with several other writers, speakers, bloggers, and influencers at Disney’s headquarters in Los Angeles, California. During our time together we were given the opportunity to speak into several projects Disney had recently released. One of those projects was the Dream Big, Princess campaign.

Check out this awesome new video from Tripp & Tyler. Only parents would find this video humorous. That’s what makes it so funny! We’ve all been at a park, the dinner table, driving, or in the mall, when we’ve had to bark out some of these famous commands.

Take a few moments out of today’s schedule to celebrate the interesting things only a parent would say or understand!

Someone recently sent us this YouTube clip of President Ronald Reagan addressing the nation on Independence Day, 1986. It’s a great reminder of why we celebrate this monumental moment in United State’s history. We are thankful for the great gift of raising our children, and leading our family with freedom and liberty!

Don’t miss this powerful theatrical event debuting tonight and running through this Thursday, March 5th. If you’re wondering why Orphan Care is such a big deal, check out these staggering statistics:

  • There are between 143 million and 210 million orphans worldwide. To put into perspective how staggering this number is, the current population of the United States is just a little over 300 million.
  • According to data released in 2003, as many as eight million boys and girls around the world live in institutional care. Some studies have found that violence in residential institutions is six times higher than violence in foster care, and that children in group care are almost four times more likely to experience sexual abuse than children in family based care.

Check out this hilarious video from the creators of “Convos With My 4 Year Old” on YouTube. For anyone who is the parent of young children, you will relate to this video. We actually set bed time 30 minutes earlier than we need to because our 3 youngest sons need everything under the sun right at bedtime!

These are the little moments of parenthood that give us all a good laugh (most of the time!). Enjoy the weekend.

Check out this amazing, and inspiring, video on the way Taylor Swift gave gifts this past Christmas to un-expecting fans. A friend of ours shared this video with us and we had to share it with our Confessions readers. It’s great to see a worldwide pop star using her platform for generosity and the betterment of other’s lives.

If there were a series of videos to describe conversations we’ve had with our 5 year old son (or 11-year old son, sad to say), upon abruptly leaving a store in the mall, this video series would be the one! This particular clip is from the YouTube series Convos With My 4-Year-Old. If you’re looking for a good laugh to start your weekend, check out their channel!
