Last summer Katya Peters was at Christ In Youth MOVE conference in Holland, Michigan where she was challenged all week to reach the world for Jesus. She took that challenge seriously. So seriously, in fact, that she put the challenge on hold until she could accomplish something bigger that she felt God calling her to do- tell her story to the world!

Katya was adopted 9 years ago, along with her older sister, from Russia by a loving family in Indiana. She had no idea how that would impact her life. The rest of the world had no idea either. Last weekend we told her story, via video, during Orphan Sunday at East 91st Street Christian Church. After the services, Katya’s mom, and her brother, shared her video on Facebook. To date, it has received over 30,000 likes. Katya’s story is reaching the world! Check it out and share it with friends.
